In the winter of 2017, Bill Sansone and Maria Cavallaro travelled from Tampa, Florida to Manila, Philippines to free one of Bill’s American clients from a Manila prison. In the five days that followed, Bill and Maria worked with the Philippines government, battled with United States Embassy officials, made their way into the Manila prison, and developed a bond with the Filipino people. Along the way, Bill and Maria learned more about love, strength, addiction, recovery, and personal perseverance than they ever could have imagined.
